311 is New York City’s one-stop help line for non-emergency city services, information, and complaints. Available 24/7, 200+ languages. 

  • What you can use 311 for: 

    • 👨‍👩‍👧 Human services: housing help, tenant rights, food assistance, childcare services, senior services 

    • 🏥 Health & social support: public clinics, mental health resources, benefits guidance 

    • 🗺️ Additional Referrals: sanitation schedules, parking rules, permits, complaints & requests, noise, heat/hot water issues, illegal parking, street and/or building problems 

  • How to contact:

    • 📞 Dial 311 (or 212-NEW-YORK from outside NYC)
