This website offers visitors educational content regarding infant development and resources to help track infant development and connect you with various services if early intervention is indicated. Baby Steps Staten Island and all staff affiliated with it are not responsible for any outcome of you, the user and any infants you choose to use information from our website for.
To use our website and receive any of our services, you must be at least 18 years of age or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. Terms and Conditions for SMS Messaging
I. Agreement to Participate
By replying "YES" or interacting with our surveys sent via Twilio SMS messaging service or directly from Baby Steps Staten Island staff via text messaging, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and consent to participate with your infant(s) in this research study. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.
II. Messaging & Data Rates
Standard messaging and data rates may apply to your text responses. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
III. Opt-Out & Help
To opt out: Reply “STOP” at any time to opt out of all future messages.

IV. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
Surveys are delivered via the secure platform Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) or by using the secure host website for the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ). Your responses will be collected via the ASQ platform and securely stored in our research database, REDCap. We will make every effort to ensure your data remains confidential in accordance with IRB guidelines and our Privacy Policy. Data will be anonymized in any published findings.
